Arpitania.eu, an interregional media
Both a cultural means of communication and a bilingual news-sheet, Arpitania.eu is also a tool for the preservation and broadcasting of the different dialects of Arpitan/Francoprovençal. It is spoken in numerous regions scattered in 3 European countries (Italy, Switzerland, and France) and this website thus endeavours to make a regional reality acknowledged, yet without claiming an official status for this euroregion, for, as Denis de Rougement (one of the founders of Europe with Monnet and Schumann) explained: "a region is not something that we have to delimit but something that we have to acknowledge".
